UN Must deploy peace army in Myanmar - Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri

World renowned Spiritual and religious scholar and PAT Chief Dr. Tahir Ul Qadri says that his party Pakistan Awami Tehreek will hold demonstrations in 100 cities against brutal killing of Rohingyas. He further says Pakistan should sever diplomatic relations with Myanmar.

LAHORE: In a press conference on 7th September 2017, Tuesday, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief and Religious Scholar Dr Tahirul Qadri said that he had written and mailed a letter to the United Nation (UN) secretary-general regarding Rohingya Muslims Genocide in Myanmar (Burma). He told that he asked United Nation (UN) secretary-general to send peace army in Mynamar to stop genocide of Rohingya Muslims.

While addressing the press conference at the party’s secretariat, the PAT chief announced to hold peaceful protests and demonstration in 100 cities of the country against the killing of the Muslim community in Myanmar.

PAT General Secretary Khuram Nawaz Gandapur and Hassan Mohayyuddin and Husain Mohayyuddin, sons of Dr Qadri, were also present there and they expressed their concerns over the massacre of Rohingya Muslims.

Talking to the media, Dr Qadri told that UN had passed a law in which it was declared that  if a statte failed to protect human rights in country, then international comuunity has  the right to intervene into the matters of state. He said that the UN should come forward and play its role to protect the lives of Rohingya Muslims.

 

Dr. Qadri appreciated the taken steps and statement of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, urging international community to ensure protection of minority Muslims, and asserted that mere lip service would not serve the cause. He said that the government of Pakistan must summon Myanmar ambassador to record protest and Pakistan Government should sever diplomatic relations with Myanmar if issue is not resolved.

Dr. Qadri said that Rohingya Muslims were being slaughtered like animals. Many Rohingya Muslims are killed and many of females are raped. Around 90,000 Rohingya Muslims had been forced to migrate.

He urged the Muslim countries to come forward to help Muslim Brothers in Myanmar and establish a fund for the welfare of the Rohingya Muslims. Dr. Qadri called for severing diplomatic relations with Myanmar if its government did not stop the Muslims Genocide within the state.

He further alleged that the Myanmar government and administration is directly involved in the killing of Muslim community in Myanmar. Myanmar movement and official must take necessary measure to protect Rohingya Muslims.
