Pakistan, or Islamic Republic of Pakistan is an Islamic sovereign country in South Asia.Many people don’t know much about Pakistan. and if they know, they only knows what they see in news channel or read in news paper about Pakistan. Mostly people in US and other countries think Pakistan a backward and terrorist state that is influenced by terrorism or finances terrorism and extremism but in reality Pakistan is very different from what you have seen on TV.

People of Pakistan blessed to witness four seasons in a year. They experience Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. In some regions weather goes extreme hot up-to 52C in summer where as in some areas, weather becomes too cold in winters. Upto -5C.
Pakistanis are blessed to have one of best natural weather, rain and moon-soon systems in world. They observe rain many times in a year and mountain regions also witness snow in winters.

More than 200 Million people from different ethnicity and backgrounds live in Pakistan. Different people from different regions, or having different religions or languages live together in Metropolitan cities like Karachi and Lahore. They all live together happily and no one has any complaints or issues about others. People from different religions or languages live together in same localities or towns. There are some areas where Christians, Muslims and Hindus live together. It is not a wonder, if you find a church or Hindu Temple in any Muslim Majority areas or if you find a Mosque in any Non Muslim Majority areas. Muslims and Non Muslims are living side by side in same area since ages.

Pakistan is among fastest growing economies and fast growing countries in world. Pakistan is a nuclear state and worlds 26th largest and better performing economy in world. Pakistan have faced and countered many challenges regarding terrorism, law and order situation in Pakistan, but still Pakistan Business community, Pakistan Stock Exchange and Pakistan Nuclear Program managed to survive and move toward success and growth in full swing. Pakistan Stock Exchange was among worlds best performing and fastest growing stock exchanges in world in first and 2nd quarter of year 2017.
At other hand, Pakistan has a strong Army and Intelligence Agency called ISI. Pakistan Army, ISI and SSG – a quick response and combat action force has won many international professional awards and events. Pakistan has seventh largest army in world. At many international competitions and events, Pak Army soldiers proved that they are superior and more stronger than any other army in world.

Pakistan have produced some of best and finest brains in world. According to a poll organised by the Institute of European Business Administration, from 125 countries, Pakistanis have been ranked the fourth most intelligent people across the globe. Pakistan has the seventh largest collection of scientists and engineers. Pakistan has produced youngest professionals and educationists who got recognition all over world. Arfa Karim, Dr. Abdus Salam, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Babar Iqbal, Ali Moeen Nawazish are few names to remember. Pakistan has contributed in world economy in different fields and cultures. Every year million of tonnes of salt is excavated from Khewra Salt mines and after necessary refining and cleaning it is exported all over the world. Khewra salt mines are one of the best resources for quality salt. Not only this, Khewra salt mine attracts tourists as well. every year, many tourists visit Khewra salt mines. Edhi Ambulance is worlds largest and most active Ambulance network in world which helps injured, sick and affected people free of cost. They have more than 2000 Ambulances operational all over world. Their fleet also includes Air Ambulance which consists of 2 air crafts and a helicopter which stay in stand-by position for 24hrs a day. Edhi Ambulance has participated in many disasters and relief work in different countries including Palestine, America, Canada, Japan, Iran, Egypt, Bangladesh and India. Edhi Foundation helps humanity without any discrimination.
World’s most philanthropic Nation
Pakistani Nation and people are among worlds most philanthropic people. They donate a huge amount of their earnings and income in charity and disasters relief work all over the world. Previously more than $150,000 were donated only by Pakistani people for Hurricane Katrina in USA. Globally Pakistani nation is ranked within 60 countries who donate more for welfare of others. According to world giving index 2011, Pakistan ranks at no 34th globally, much better then India and other countries.

Pakistan had produced Abdul Sattar Edhi, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Dr. Umar Saif, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Nusrat fateh Ali Khan, Amjad Sabri, Dr. Abdus salam and many other people who devoted their time and life for changing world.
Abdul Sattar Edhi is a symbol of serving Humanity. Through all his life, Abdul Sattar Edhi served humanity without any discrimination. In his early days, he started from a one room office, begged on roads for helping others. According to some sources, he was the first person in Asia to start first ever Ambulance service and dispensary for injured and sick people. Later on he expanded his work to entire world.
Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is the person behind Pakistan Atomic Program. Pakistan has a huge importance due to its geographical location on world map. In past, Pakistan was facing threats from different countries including his neighboring country India, who always tries to find a way to attack and de-rail Pakistan. In late 80’s it was the need of the time for Pakistan to secure its boundaries. So at that time, Dr. Abdul Qadeer khan came back from Pakistan and imitated Pakistan Nuclear Program and as a result, Pakistan tested its nuclear weapons and arms in 1998 successfully.
Umar Saif is a Pakistani computer scientist and academic. He serves as the vice-chancellor of the Information Technology University and is a senior member of the cabinet of the Punjab province. He received his doctorate from Trinity College, Cambridge.He has also spent four years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At MIT, Saif was part of the team that developed system technologies for Project Oxygen. He was named as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010 and also selected as one of top 35 young innovators in the world by MIT Technology Review in 2011. He has also received faculty research award from google in 2011. His works includes See n Report, SMS ALL and Pakistan-Punjab Government Dengue prevention program. One of his product SMSall – a mobile social network which got fame and later it was followed by twitter for delivering social media alerts.
Schon Group or Schon properties is a leading business group which originated from Pakistan and later spanned its operations to other countries, including Singapore, UAE and USA. Shahid Khan is a Pakistani-American business man who born in Lahore, Pakistan and later moved to US to pursue his higher studies. He is the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL), the English Football League Championship team Fulham F.C., and automobile parts manufacturer Flex-N-Gate in Urbana, Illinois. He used to work as an employee at Flex-N-Gate and later he bought Flex-N-Gate from his former employee. Today, 12,450 people are working in Flex-N-Gate and it has more 48 manufacturing plants all over world.
Allama bashir farooqi and Saylani Welfare Trust are changing lives of people with in and outside Pakistan by helping other. Allama Bashir Farooqi is a religious and spiritual scholar who runs Saylani Welfare Trust – non profit organization to help poor and needy people without any discrimination. His organization feeds more than 150,000 people daily and provide food, shelter and health facilities to injured, sick and affected people free of cost. Their recent initiative called ‘Mass Training Program’ is a revolutionary program that is changing people life rapidly. So far through this program, Saylani Welfare has trained 8000 IT professionals who are serving IT field in different countries. Their aim is to train 40000 IT professionals by the end of year 2018. Saylani welfare is also providing relief aid to Syrian refugees in Turkey and Rohingya refugees and affected people in Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Minar-e-Pakistan is one of the national symbols of Pakistan ideology and basis of Pakistan. This was the place where people of Pakistan (then Sub Continent) gathered together on 23rd March 1940 and demanded a separate country for the first time in history.

Yes Pakistani Law provides equal rights for every human being in country. This is Asia’s largest Catholic Cross built in middle of Karachi, Pakistan. and yes this is not in India or any other country. Such things can only happens in Pakistan. This cross is built at a christian cemetery located at ‘Gora Qabristan’ in karachi. This cross in more than 145 feet high (more than a fourteen story high building) was built back in 2014.
South Asia’s largest Catholic church was built and inaugurated in 2011 in middle of Karachi City. Church was constructed in an area called ‘Akhtar Colony’ where both Muslims and Christians are living together since ages. This church can host a crowd of more than 5000 people at a time. Again this is not in India, Sri-lanka or any other country. This church is in Karachi, Pakistan.
